Reporting illegal content (Art. 16 DSA)
Anyone, with or without an account, can report a Trackero QR code, short link, dashboard or other content they believe to be illegal or in breach of our Acceptable Use Policy using our report form or by email to abuse@trackero.co. To help us act quickly, please include:
- the exact location of the content: the short link or QR code URL (for example https://shoort.link/…, or a link on a customer's own domain such as https://go.example.com/…), or a photo of the QR code and where you found it;
- a sufficiently substantiated explanation of why you believe the content is illegal;
- your name and email address (not required if your report concerns child sexual abuse material or a similar offence);
- a statement confirming your good-faith belief that the information in your report is accurate and complete.
We confirm receipt of your report, process it in a timely, diligent, non-arbitrary and objective manner, and tell you what we decided and what redress options you have. If we restrict content, we inform the account holder with a statement of reasons (Art. 17 DSA). Where content gives rise to a suspicion of a criminal offence involving a threat to the life or safety of persons, we inform the competent law enforcement authorities (Art. 18 DSA).
Consumer dispute resolution
We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. Please contact us directly at legal@trackero.co; we will do our best to resolve any issue.
Liability for content and links
We create the content of our own pages with care but cannot guarantee that it is complete, accurate and up to date at all times. QR codes, short links (including those on customers' own domains) and dashboards are created by our customers, who are responsible for them, for the domains they connect and for the destinations they lead to. We are not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information generally, but we remove or disable illegal content promptly when we become aware of it. Our pages contain links to external websites over whose content we have no control; the respective operator is always responsible for the content of linked pages.
